Regional economic development networking tactic: Coordinate regional meetings with KDA to showcase ag as economic development, provide data around economic impact, and foster networking. Engage ADD districts, local economic development leaders, agribusinesses, farmers, commodity groups, and elected officials.

Coordination tactic: Work with KDA and KY Cabinet for Economic Development to help attract projects and coordinate economic development activity related to food and ag. Bring in voices from other working groups who can contribute to this and serve as a conduit as needed.

University outreach tactic: Continue to foster relationships at universities in ag economic development degree and research. Coordinate with workforce development working group.

Chamber leadership tactic: Help local chambers identify ag folks and agribusinesses to talk with leadership programs as part of Ag Literacy Network. Train and incentivize farmers and help them understand. Coordinate with ag literacy working group.

Development consultants tactic: Research and communicate with development consultants in food and beverage - research and communicate that KY is open for business with connection to PDI funding and bringing in local economic development authorities. Engage consultants in regional economic development meetings.
